Green Parikud launched in 2015 as a grassroots environmental movement

NetZero Planet Foundation established in 2025 under Section 8 of the Companies Act . A growing mission expanding from Odisha to a national environmental platform

Through sustained effort, year round participation, and community involvement, Green Parikud contributed to the plantation of lakhs of native trees and palm trees across Odisha, while also helping build environmental awareness, community participation, and local ownership of ecological responsibility.

Its greatest strength has not only been plantation, but also the creation of a people-driven environmental culture rooted in action and responsibility.

With the formal establishment of NetZero Planet Foundation on 28 March 2025, the environmental mission entered a new phase of structured growth, wider reach, and institutional engagement.

In its first year (2025), the Foundation successfully planted 47,000 native trees and palm trees across Odisha, reflecting its continued commitment to practical environmental action, ecological restoration, and mission-driven impact.

This phase marks the expansion of the journey from a strong grassroots movement into a broader environmental platform with growing scale and visibility.
