ISR Impact Foundation

Plant a Tree, Shape the Future

About the Foundation

ISR Impact Foundation is a registered trust dedicated to promoting environmental conservation, climate solutions, sustainable development, and health awareness through Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy. The foundation also supports the rehabilitation of special children with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other conditions. It extends care to senior citizens and orphans, embodying the spirit of Individual Social Responsibility (ISR).

Our Mission: Mission One Crore Trees by 2030

As an allied entity of the NetZero Planet Foundation, ISR Impact Foundation contributes to the plantation drive under the Mission One Crore Trees by 2030 campaign. We mobilize community support and volunteers to help India move towards climate resilience and a sustainable green future.

Why We Must Act

Human actions leave long-lasting impacts on the planet. India’s population has surged from 36.1 crore in 1951 to over 145 crore today, but our forest and tree cover haven’t kept pace. While 33% forest cover is ideal, we stand at only 24.62% as of 2021, well below the global average.

This decline contributes to rising emissions, climate change, and health issues. The solution? Individual action. Just like we support family in tough times, we must rise to reverse this environmental crisis — together.

The Power of Tree Plantation

Tree plantation is a simple yet powerful solution. Whether it's planting in a backyard, gifting saplings, or joining community drives — every tree counts. These small actions, when multiplied, shape a healthier, greener future.

Environmental Protection: A Constitutional Duty

  • Article 51-A (g): Duty of every citizen to protect and improve the natural environment.
  • Article 47: Obligation of the State to improve public health and living standards.
  • Article 48: Promotion of scientific agriculture and animal husbandry.
  • Article 48-A: Directive for the State to safeguard forests and wildlife.
  • Article 21: Right to life — implicitly the right to a clean, healthy environment.

Local Panchayats also play a vital role in ecological restoration. Environmental stewardship is deeply rooted in Indian culture — as the Atharvaveda says: “Man’s paradise is on earth; live in harmony with nature.”

Call to Action

Let us honor our constitutional and moral duty to protect the environment. Through consistent efforts like tree plantation, we can ensure a greener, healthier India.
