The NetZero Planet Foundation is a non-profit social organization registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) on March 28, 2025. Our mission is to support individuals, businesses, and government bodies in creating forests, empowering farmers, and protecting water bodies through impactful tree plantation programs across India. These efforts directly contribute to India’s goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

India’s Commitment to Net-Zero

India is committed to combating climate change, aiming to achieve net-zero emissions by 2070. To support this, the country has set ambitious 2030 targets:

• ✅ Non-Fossil Fuel Capacity: 500 GW of non-fossil energy, accounting for 50% of total installed electricity capacity.
• ✅ Emission Reduction: 45% reduction in carbon intensity (compared to 2005) and a 1 billion-ton cut in carbon emissions.
• ✅ Carbon Sink: Creating an additional 2.5–3 Gt CO₂ sink via large-scale tree plantations.

We aim to reach Net-Zero by 2050 by implementing solutions across individual, business, and government levels:

• 🌱 Expand Tree Plantation: Offset carbon emissions by planting and nurturing more trees.
