Welcome to NetZero Planet Foundation ("NetZero Planet", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("T&C").

These terms may be updated from time to time without prior notice. We encourage you to check this page periodically for any changes.

In addition to these terms, when using specific NetZero-Planet services, you will also be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to those services, which are hereby incorporated by reference.

1. Description of the Service

NetZero-Planet enables individuals and businesses to plant trees and dedicate them via eTreeCertificates®, either for greetings or carbon offset purposes. Users can also purchase trees in bulk and hold them in a personal TreeBank™ for future use.

Key Points:

Social Venture: NetZero-Planet is a social enterprise, not a non-profit organization.
Tree Certificates: One certificate is issued per tree planted. You may send this to a recipient or keep it for yourself.
Planting Timeline: Planting may occur up to 18 months after or 30 months before your purchase.
Tree Inventory: Trees may be sold before or after being planted. No tree will be sold more than once.
Planting Locations: Public land or smallholder farms with written permission.
Tree Survival: NetZero is not liable for losses due to natural or illegal causes. Replanting may occur.
Audits & Verification: Independent audits may be conducted.
No Carbon Credits: Carbon credits are not issued at this time.
No Tree Ownership: Users do not own planted trees. Visitations not facilitated.
Scientific Accuracy: We do not guarantee precise scientific accuracy.

The service is provided "AS IS" and we assume no responsibility for delays, deletions, or communication failures.

2. User Registration

By using our services, you confirm that:

You are of legal age to form a binding contract.
You are not prohibited from receiving services under Indian law or other applicable laws.

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information.
Keep your information updated and accurate.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any information is false or incomplete.

3. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices, including transfer and storage in India and other jurisdictions.

4. Account Security

Upon registration, you will receive login credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activities under your account.

You agree to:

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
Log out of your account at the end of each session.

We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
