Become a Climate Ambassador
Start With Yourself. Inspire Your Community. Help Build a Climate Conscious Bharat.
Climate change is a global challenge, but climate consciousness begins locally with individuals, families, schools, workplaces and communities.
NetZero Planet Foundation cannot build this movement alone. We need citizens willing to understand their environmental impact, make practical changes and inspire others to do the same. This is the purpose of the Climate Ambassador Network of Climate Conscious Bharat.
You don't need to be a climate expert. You need the willingness to learn, act and inspire.
Who Can Become a Climate Ambassador?
Climate Conscious Bharat is a people’s movement. Climate Ambassadors can be:
No environmental degree or previous climate experience is required.

Your Simple Mission: INSPIRE 10
ONE CLIMATE AMBASSADOR → INSPIRE 10 PEOPLE
Encourage family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, classmates or community members to begin their own journey:
INSPIRE 10 is a voluntary mobilisation goal. Only documented participation is counted as programme impact.
Start Small. Create Change.
You don't need to organise an event for hundreds of people.
Start with your family, five neighbours, ten colleagues, classroom, apartment community, village or morning walk group.
One Conversation Can Create Awareness. One Conscious Choice Can Inspire Another.
Small Choices. Big Change.
What Can a Climate Ambassador Do?
Start Climate Conversations
Talk about climate change and everyday environmental choices in simple language.
Promote “Know Your Carbon Number”
Encourage people to use the Carbon Calculator and understand their footprint.
Encourage Climate Pledges
Help people identify one practical change they can reasonably make.
Conduct Small Awareness Activities
With appropriate permission, engage people in communities, parks, schools, colleges, villages and workplaces.
Share Climate Awareness
Use Foundation approved videos, posters, QR codes and educational materials.
Participate in Climate Action
Support suitable activities related to trees, water, waste, biodiversity, responsible consumption and community environmental action.
Report Your Activities
Document participation so eligible activities can contribute to the Climate Conscious Bharat Impact Dashboard.
A Network Across Bharat

Climate Ambassadors for Every Community
Student Climate Ambassadors: Learn about climate change, understand Carbon Footprint, take Climate Pledges, save resources, participate in environmental action and inspire families.
Student participation should follow appropriate institutional processes and safeguards for minors.
Teacher Climate Ambassadors: Support climate discussions, student activities, Climate Clubs, Carbon Footprint awareness and Climate Pledges.
Employee Climate Ambassadors: Encourage climate conscious choices within workplaces and help carry the message from employees to families and communities.
Climate Ambassador Starter Kit
After onboarding, Ambassadors can receive a digital toolkit containing:
This helps Ambassadors communicate a consistent, factual and responsible climate message.
Climate Ambassador Orientation
Regular online orientation and interaction sessions can cover:
Ambassadors can also share experiences and learn from one another.
Registered ≠ Active
For transparent impact reporting, we distinguish between:
Registered Climate Ambassador: Completed the Foundation's defined registration and onboarding requirements.
Active Climate Ambassador: Completed qualifying climate awareness or environmental activities during the defined reporting period.
This ensures our Impact Dashboard reflects active participation rather than registration numbers alone.
Recognition Through Action
Recognition is based on genuine participation, not popularity or payment.
- • Climate Ambassador: Completed onboarding.
- • Active Climate Ambassador: Demonstrated qualifying participation.
- • Climate Action Leader: Demonstrated sustained local engagement against published criteria.
- • Climate Impact Leader: Demonstrated significant and sustained community engagement against stronger criteria.
Climate Ambassador Map
A future Climate Ambassador Map can show how the movement is growing:
The public map can display aggregated figures such as Registered Ambassadors, Active Ambassadors, Citizens Engaged, Carbon Calculations, Climate Pledges and Activities Conducted.
A Voluntary Role with Responsible Representation
Climate Ambassadors participate voluntarily in Climate Conscious Bharat. Unless separately and formally authorised, they are not employees, agents, office bearers or authorised representatives of NetZero Planet Foundation.
Ambassadors must not collect funds in the Foundation's name without written authorisation, enter agreements on its behalf, promise CSR funding, issue Foundation certificates, misuse the Foundation's identity, make unsupported environmental claims or represent personal political views as Foundation positions.
