Our Journey
From Grassroots Action to a Climate Conscious Bharat
The journey of NetZero Planet Foundation began not with an organisation, but with a belief: environmental responsibility must begin with action.
2015: Green Parikud
Our grassroots journey began in Parikud Island, Odisha, bringing communities together for tree plantation, environmental awareness and protection.
2015–2024: A Decade of Action
Plantation initiatives expanded across communities, schools and public spaces, involving native trees, fruit trees, neem and palmyra palms, supported by students, teachers and volunteers.
2025: NetZero Planet Foundation
The Foundation was established as a Section 8 not for profit company, transforming years of grassroots experience into structured, scalable and measurable environmental programmes.
2025–2026: From Plantation to Climate Action
Our work expanded into ecological restoration, urban greening, biodiversity, climate awareness, community participation and Carbon Footprint measurement.
2026 Onwards: Climate Conscious Bharat
Our journey now moves towards Climate Conscious Bharat; Making Climate Consciousness a People’s Movement in Bharat, connecting Carbon Footprint measurement, Climate Pledges, Climate Ambassadors, institutions and everyday climate action.
Our Journey Continues
Our journey began with planting trees. Today, our aspiration is to make climate consciousness a part of everyday life.
